As per reports, Coconut and Copra prices may fall further by November. The price of Coconut is likely to fall Rs. 6 per piece and that of Copra to Rs. 63 per kg. As per the World Bank report, the slump in the demand for coconut oil in the international market could continue till 2019. Export of Coconut and Copra stood at 1.58 lakh tonnes last year.
